100% bolt on Subframe Connector for your 1993-2002 Chevrolet Camaro or Pontiac Firebird Coupe
This kit requires no welding and can be installed using hand tools.
This kit also clears all stock exhaust components while closely following the floor pan contour assuring you a close fit and maximum ground clearance. This is the only kit on the market which ties the subframes, rockers and floor pan into one assembly!
The included crossmember features a mount for S&W Performance Group's adjustable torque arm which can be purchased separately and installed along with the subframe connectors and crossmember, or you can retain your OEM torque arm and mount.
The connectors and crossmember are fabricated from 1-1/2" x .120" wall steel tubing and feature water jet cut brackets for exact fit. These components are hand assembled on a custom welding fixture and TIG welded for high strength and ease of installation. All of the above components are powder coated silver for a long lasting, durable and attractive finish.

Installation Instructions
1. Raise and support the car and rear housing.
2. Remove front seats and carpet.
3. Remove the front bolt for the driver side rear lower control arm.
4. Temporarily install the driver side subframe connector. The back of the connector fits over the front of the stock control arm box. Put the control arm bolt in but do not tighten. The connector will bolt to the control arm box, floor pan and the stock subframe. Position the connector against the floor and support it.
Note: If you have an S&W Performance Group bolt in street bar, the flat pad at the back of the connector will align with the main hoop pad.
5. Repeat steps 3 & 4 for the passenger side. Do not tighten any bolts at this time.
6. Install the new crossmember.
Note: The crossmember does replace the stock transmission crossmember. Bolt the new crossmember to the subframe connectors and the stock brackets on the floor pans.
7. Mark the location of all the holes that are to be drilled.
Floor Pads: (4) 3/8" holes
Front Subframe Brackets: (8) 5/16" holes
8. Remove crossmember and subframe connectors and drill all holes.
9. Install subframe connectors, crossmember, drive shaft loop and all hardware. Tighten all nuts and bolts.
10. Check your work, make sure all nuts and bolt are tightened adequately.
