  • Hi, We recently received your manual rack for our Firebird and as I was turning it by hand for centering purposes it doesn’t seem very smooth, almost a grind feeling. I did not open the access covers but was wondering if these need to be greased and if so, what type is recommended? Thank you in advance for your response. John

    You don't need to take it apart to grease. Usually they needs to go through their travel several times to lubricate the new gears.
