Different types of race cars require different types of wheelie bars. Your basic bracket race Doorslammer doesn't need 100" solid mounted wheelie bars but an Alcohol Funny Car would have a big problem without them.
For Doorslammers, S&W Performance Group offers two styles of wheelie bars. The traditional wheelie bar is 48" long from the rear axle centerline and utilizes a flat aluminum bottom leaf. These bars are available in chrome or zinc plated and come with necessary mounting hardware. S&W Performance Group's tubular doorslammer wheelie bar measures 54" and 60" long and are available unpainted. Both styles are spring loaded and easily adjustable.
S&W Performance Group's single wheel wheelie bar was designed specifically for the Aero Roadster but can be easily adapted to most Altereds, Dragsters & Street Roadsters. Available chrome plated or unpainted, the S&W Performance Group single wheel wheelie bar is 70" long and measures 14 1/2" wide at the upper mounting tabs. Also available is a 100" wheelie bar kit, identical to the wheelie bars used on all S&W Performance Group Top Alcohol Funny Cars. 100" Wheelie bar kits are available in single or dual wheel versions. Replacement parts are available for all wheelie bars and kits.
