Installation Notes
1. Jack up the car and support it with jack stands to make sure the rear housing is hanging and not supporting any of the car's weight.
2. The OEM rubber curtains bolted to the bottom of the car must be removed to install the S&W torque box subframe connectors. Two of the OEM bolts are used to bolt the connectors to the subframe.
3. Remove one lower control arm and install the torque box subframe connector on that side. Replace the first control arm before removing the other control arm and starting the installation of the second connector.
Caution: The rear housing may move when the control arm is removed.
4. S&W Performance Group recommends using Loctite or a similar product on all bolts with nyloks.
5. The emergency brake brackets bolted to the stock torque box will have to be removed. After installation of the connectors tie wrap the emergency brake cable to one of the tubes on the connectors.
