S&W Rear Frame Rails & Connectors – 64-72 Chevelle, GTO, 442, Cutlass, Skylark

Upgrade your classic muscle car for modern drag or pro/street performance with S&W's rear frame rail kit. Designed for 1964–1972 Chevelle, GTO, 442, Cutlass, and Skylark models, these high-quality rails are made from 2″ x 3″ x .083″ wall mild steel rectangular tubing and are precision-formed using CNC equipment for consistent fit and strength.

Perfect for DIY builders, these rails allow you to narrow the rear frame section to fit wider tires while shaving weight compared to OEM frame sections. Though not OEM replacements, they’re engineered for applications where retaining the rear floor pan is preferred. Some cutting and trimming of the stock floor and trunk will be required.

Included in this kit:

• (1) Pair of rear frame rails
• (1) Pair of frame connectors to tie the rear frame to the front subframe, improving overall chassis rigidity

Compliant with NHRA Super Stock guidelines, this setup delivers a strong foundation for your high-performance build.

Note: These are not direct OEM replacement rails. Modification of the stock floor is necessary.
