Installation Instructions

1. Raise and support car with jack stands. Keep the jack stands clear of the torque box, front subframe and the back of the front k-member. The rear housing should be hanging from the car and not supporting any weight.

2. Install one subframe connector at a time. Remove the two bolts at the back of the front k-member. Remove the nuts on the back of the front seat mounts. Loosen the nut at the front of the lower control arm.

Note: The lower control arm is under load from the coil spring, this may bind the bolt. You may have to use a jack under the rear housing to relieve some of the pressure and remove the bolt.

3. Install one of the subframe connectors. The torque box tab goes on the outside of the torque box. Align the slots on the seat support bracket with the seat mount studs. Put the nuts on the seat mount studs but do not tighten. Put the new bolt through the torque box control arm and torque box tab. bolt the front of the connector to the k-member using the existing bolts. Bolt the back of the connector to the bottom of the torque box using the factory hole and the slot in the connector plate. Tighten all of the bolts except the front lower control arm bolt.

4. Using the hole in the front of the connector torque box plate as a guide drill two 3/8" holes through the front of the torque box. Bolt the connector to the torque box using these holes.

5. Repeat steps 3 & 4 for the other side.

6. With the car at ride height and the weight of the car on the suspension tighten the front bolts of the lower control arms.
